			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>6 - Lakewood, WA - Biker&#8217;s Against Child Abuse</strong> - BACA&#8217;s 2nd Annual Kids BACA Bash, from 10am-6pm at Fort Steilacoom Park in Lakewood. Bring your kids, family, or just yourself if you want. There is something for everybody! This is BACA&#8217;s annual fund raiser to help abused children. This year our goal is to raise a fund to start counseling services for our &#8220;adopted children.</p>
<p><strong>7 - Carnation, WA - Puget Sound Ride For Kids</strong> - The Ride for Kids is a vehicle for raising money for the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation of the United States. We have local patient families and surviors who have benefited from the research funded by the foundation. <p><strong>10: Sedro-Woolley, WA - Rally In The Valley (formerly The Just for Fun Run)</strong> - Benefiting Skagit Hospice. Register at the Hometown Cafe in downtown Sedro-Woolley between 8 and 11 am. $15 per motorcycle or car.</p>

<p>&#8220;Riding to work on this day shows the positive value of motorcycles and scooters for transportation. For many people, riding is an economical, efficient and socially responsible form of mobility that saves energy, helps the environment and provides a broad range of other public benefits,&#8221; states Andy Goldfine, the event organizer. <h2>18-19: Vancouver, WA - Baby Boomer Bikers Rally</h2>
<p>The Baby Boomer Bikers Rally will be held in Vancouver, WA in conjunction with Hot July Nights, featuring Peter Frampton and the Beach Boys. It is going to be an exciting weekend in Vancouver. Approximately 3-5,000 people will attend Hot July Nights each night at Esther Short Park.</p>
<p>Our bike event is sited ½ block south of the Park. We are planning on having 500 bikes, but have space for 1,000. And, the vibrant Farmers Market is also taking place on Saturday next to the Park and ½ block from the bike event.</p>

<p>The bikers, builders and vendors have spoken and we listened.  The Rosalia Motorcycle Association has done a complete overhaul of  &#8220;The 100 Years of Motorcycle rally&#8221;.  The event has been given a complete face lift, including a new promoter, a new date, and even a new name;  &#8220;The Rosalia Rally&#8221;.  This year promises to be our best event ever, with even more hot bikes, great music, games, and all the events bikers want. <p>Sign up at 8 am at the Lakewood City Hall Parking Lot. After a pep talk from the Chief of Police, the Lakewood Police Motor Officers will lead the group from LAkewood through University Place then to the Tacoma waterfront, into Fife and Puyallup, eventually leading bake to Lakewood&#8217;s Fort Steilacoom Park for the City of Lakewood&#8217;s Summerfest where there will be a motorcycle safety display. Prize drawing after registration priot to ride!</p>

<h2>29: Seattle, WA - Children&#8217;s Ride 13 Rock &#8216;n Ride Concert</h2>
<p>Children&#8217;s Ride has a new destination!  Our traditional WSP escorted ride starting from Qwest Field in Seattle will end at the White River Amphitheater (WRA) in Auburn for the first annual Rock &#8216;n Ride Concert!  Join Paul Yaffe and Keith Wong for a great day of riding, music, food and vendors.</p>
<p>Children&#8217;s Ride 13 offers three registration levels this year.  All ride registration levels include the WSP escorted ride, catered lunch, pin (while supplies last) and admission to the Rock &#8216;N Ride Concert.   <em>Pre-register by June 12 and receive a T-shirt and patch.</em> Since the concert is not festival seating, we encourage riders to register as a group if they want to sit together.</p>
