About NWCR

Posted by John Davis  Published in Northwest Cycle Report

In addition to motorcycling I am an internet junkie. I develop websites, correspond primarily by e-mail and generally use the web for a good part of every day. So naturally when I returned to motorcycling in 2004 I began to surf the web in search of motorcycle-related sites and resources. I found a lot of good ones; and a lot of bad ones. I won’t name names.

This site aspires to be one of the good ones. I was inspired to create it by my two passions (after my family of course): motorcycling and creating for the web. My mission is to provide a site that offers interesting, informative and timely news and information to motorcyclists in Washington, Oregon and Idaho. There is an events calendar as well as product and book reviews, ride reports, opinions, dealer directories and whatever other interesting tidbits I come across in my web wanderings.

These items will be assembled here for your viewing pleasure. In addition, they will be assembled into a weekly electronic newsletter that will be delivered right to your Inbox. You can sign up by clicking on the “Subscribe” link in the main menu. (Don’t worry, I will never, ever, under any circumstances, sell or give your e-mail information to anyone for any purpose. I hate spam too!)

Finally, I need your help. If you know of an event or interesting story, please drop me a line. If you have ideas about what you would like to see on the site, let me know. If you have a complaint, tell me. This site is meant for you, the northwest motorcyclist. So tell me what you want and what you need and I will do my best to make it happen.
