British entrepreneur Azhar Hussain doesn’t believe going fast and going green are mutually exclusive. The businessman has developed an all-electric race-ready motorcycle capable of swift acceleration and remarkable velocity, and he’ll showcase it at the zero-emissions alt-fuel grand prix he’s hosting in June. Hussain hopes his TTX machine will do for sport bikes what Tesla Motors has done for sports cars. “We want to prove electric can be fast,” Hussain told Wired.com. “Up to now, the electric experience for road-legal vehicles has not been great. As far as we know, this is the fastest road-legal electric bike in the world.” via An Electric Motorcycle Valentino Rossi Could Love | Autopia from Wired.com. Post a comment
