Follow Me to the Oyster Run
By John Davis • Sep 23rd, 2008 • Category: Blog PostsThis Sunday is the mother of all Northwest motorcycle events; the 27th Annual Oyster Run in Anacortes, WA. This event draws tens of thousands of motorcyclists who crowd the closed downtown streets to enjoy the sights, music and vendors.
Of course I will be there for the fourth year in a row. I am using the occasion to launch a new service from Northwest Cycle Report; a Twitter feed. Those who know about Twitter can get instant updates from the Oyster Run by following NWCR at http://www.twitter.com/nwcr
Don’t know about Twitter? It’s a free service that allows you to "follow" friends and receive up-to-minute- updates on what they are doing. By following NWCR you will receive immediate updates on your computer or mobile phone (if you choose). These updates include new posting to the web site, breaking news, and on-the-spot updates from events that I attend.
So head over to www.twitter.com, set up a free account and follow NWCR to the Oyster Run. Who knows, maybe we can coordinate a meet up at the event!
