It is appropriate that the traditional wedding gift for a third anniversary is leather. Sunday, May 11 marked not only Mother’s Day and my daughter’s 20th birthday, it also marked the third anniversary of Northwest Cycle News. It is interesting to reflect on where this little project started and where it has come. Originally an email-only newsletter serving the information needs of Northwest motorcyclists, it has spun off other sites (MotoSkagit) and events (the Washington 120). It has also opened the door for more writing opportunities for me personally (MotorcycleBloggers.com, MotorcycleLife.com). As I am always looking to improve, look for some exciting announcements in the weeks and months ahead. As always, your ideas and feedback drive the direction of the site and inspire new features. So keep them coming.
