How Many Days in Jail This Guy Will Get?

By John Davis • Jul 24th, 2007 • Category: Northwest Cycle News Headlines

A 42-year-old Boise man was arrested yesterday evening for allegedly driving drunk, crashing into a motorcycle and then trying to push the motorcycle and its driver into the path of oncoming cars.

Parker M. Crumb is being held at the Ada County Jail.

Witnesses told officers the driver of a pick-up truck rear-ended the motorcycle.

A passenger on the motorcycle was able to jump off as the truck’s driver accelerated with the motorcycle tangled in the grill of the pick up.

Witness then said the truck pushed the bike and its driver toward oncoming traffic.

The driver of the motorcycle jumped off just as the bike crashed. He was hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries.

Officers arrested Crumb after he allegedly left the scene, then called dispatchers to report his truck had been stolen in what police say was a ruse to cover up the earlier incident.
