Merry Christmas to All!

By John Davis • Dec 20th, 2006 • Category: Northwest Cycle News Headlines

In preparation for my annual Christmas Day and New Year’s Day rides, I carved out some time last weekend to get the bike cleaned up. Not that the shine will last long; the weather here in the northwest has turned wet again and yet another wind storm is forecast for the next couple of days. Oh well, that’s riding in the great northwet!

My daughter is due home from college today and I am definitely looking forward to spending time with her in the coming weeks. I also plan to take some time off and spend it with the family. So I don’t expect to be doign a lot of writing until after the New Year.

2006 has been a great year for NorthwestCycleNews.com. Visitors to the site continue to increase, feedback continues to be positive, and I am still having fun! What more could I want? The launch of my other site, BikerCuisine.com, is going well. Look for more on this and other new ideas heading into the spring riding season.

I want to thank my readers, without you this site and newsletter wouldn’t exist. I also want to thank my contributing authors, Brady “Kickstart” Wright and Colleen “DantesDame” First, for their contributions. Both of you totally rock! Finally I want to thank my advertisors. They keep this thing free for the readers; so give them your support!

That’s about it from here. Merry Christmas to all from NorthwestCycleNews.com!
