City officials in Guangzhou, China have had enough. Motorcycles and scooters have become a plague on the streets of the city. So, they did what any reasonable communist government organization would do: they banned them. As of January 1, 2007 over 250,000 registered motorcycles will no longer be legal to operate on the cities roads. The primary transportation, and in some cases livelihood, of tens of thousands of people will be gone. The folks in Canyon Lake, CA would feel right at home in Guangzhou. Post a comment
