I’m in Portland this week dropping my daughter off at college. This incident occured just a few miles from where I am staying.

An Oregon State Police motor officer received minor injuries Tuesday morning while responding to a traffic crash when a pickup turned in front of his motorcycle.
At the time of the crash, the OSP motorcycle had emergency lights and siren activated.Trooper Jason Lindland, age 33, was transported by ambulance to Milwaukie Providence Hospital for treatment of a minor forearm injury, and scrapes and bruises.

The pickup’s driver, Greg Hettenhouser, age 47, from Gladstone, was not injured. He was cited for Failure to Yield to an Emergency Vehicle.
