A 19-year-old rider was stopped by Oregon State Patrol near Seaside, OR for travelling down Highway 26 at 129 mph. When questioned by the trooper, the rider said that he was trying to locate his wallet that he believes was lost along the highway somewhere between Portland and Seaside. Curtis Joseph Rands of Tigard, OR was taken into custody for Reckless Driving and Violation of the Basic Speed Law. A conviction for speed over 100 mph carries a minimum 30-90 day suspension and $1103 fine. No word on whether or not his wallet was recovered. Post a comment
