Do you have a favorite watering hole or biker friendly cafe? Do you know where the best coffee in the county is? Is there a place that’s worth a 200 mile ride for a slice of pie? We want to know about it.
Kickstart and I are compiling Kickstart’s Guide to Northwest Biker Cuisine. You know those great places that have classy linens and the ultimate in steaks and chops or the epitome of fine seafood? Well, this Guide won’t help you find them. Kickstart’s Guide to Northwest Biker Cuisine is all about that perfect cup of coffee or the world-class ribs, and how to get there by the most scenic route. It’s about finding the great chowder and stew or the nachos that will warm your soul and set you up for the next half of that perfect ride!
For each place, there are some basic criteria I’ll put in front of you. I’ll give you the name, the location, the type of food and whether it’s family friendly or better for more (ahem) mature individuals. I’ll toss in a price range and a special dish I happen to like. How you get there is up to you. You want maps? Go to Mapquest or Google.
Finally, I may toss in a couple of recipes or other pearls of wisdom, as the list grows. If you know of a place you want me to check out, email the name and where it is, and I’ll find a reason to ride out there. As always, these are my own opinions. Feel free to agree or not. I don’t know everything, but I know what I know.
