This is a highly frustrating situation which appears to be unavoidable. What I mean by "unavoidable" is that Ms Gribble does have a right to due process. In the meantime, her life moves on until her "day in court." We can only hope that as her life is moving on, including graduation this Friday, June 16, that she is remorseful of the undeniable accident that took the life of a Gabriella

Edmonds-Woodway High has a ZERO tolerance policy for alcohol related violations. According to the facts, Ms. Gribble clearly seemed to violate this policy, but has yet to be held accountable by the school and basketball team, perhaps even those closest to her. Although, we can't expect our justice system to deny due process to Ms. Gribble, I wonder if at the very least the school system has a responsiblity to hold her accountable under the ZERO tolerance policy. I can simply encourage us to put our faith in the justice system because it appears the school system may be failing.

I am trying my best not to pass judgement as I hope others do the same. This is a terrible situation with absolutely no positive outcome. I pray for both families affected.
