Jeffrey Eldredge, 45, and Laurie Eldredge, 44, were traveling south together on a motorcycle on Rogers Road when they crashed north of Independence about 7:15 p.m. Friday.The road was dry and clear of debris, and the motorcycle left the road approaching a curve, said Dean Benner, public information officer for the Polk County sheriff. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
